Job summary

Premier Brands Group Holdings, a global leader in apparel, jewelry and accessories, is seeking a Product Development Manager to drive end-to-end development across multiple categories. You will manage the lifecycle from concept through production and collaborate with design, sourcing, production and sales teams.

The role requires 6+ years of wholesale apparel experience, strong knowledge of T&A, and proficiency in Illustrator, PLM, and Excel.

Qualifications

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Product Development Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Product Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the product development lifecycle from concept through production
• Monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met
• Manage and coordinate Product Development activities across multiple apparel categories and wholesale accounts based on business and customer requirements
• Source new fabrics and trims to support seasonal development
• Order and track proto samples and sample yardage; create and maintain sample and fabric tracking charts
• Maintain fabric, trim, and product approval libraries
• Track samples from vendors as needed
• Issue approval comments on lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics, and trims
• Communicate daily with overseas vendors, mills, factories, and sample rooms
• Create and manage bulk Bills of Materials (BOMs) for factories
• Resolve development and bulk production issues while proactively identifying solutions
• Attend all relevant cross-functional meetings and follow up on outstanding action items
• Partner closely with Design, Fabric R&D, Production, and Sales teams throughout the development process
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing business needs and shifting priorities

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product development experience within wholesale apparel
• Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from concept through production
• Experience supporting multiple apparel product categories and wholesale accounts simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of Time & Action (T&A) processes and calendar management
• Experience working with overseas vendors, mills, and factories
• Strong knowledge of apparel product development across knit, woven, denim, or other ready-to-wear categories
• Experience within high-volume branded, private label, or wholesale apparel businesses preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines, work independently, and proactively drive solutions
