Job summary

The Kasper Group is an apparel leader, delivering women’s wardrobe solutions from Kasper, Anne Klein, LeSuit, and Kenneth Cole. This Textile Manager role focuses on fabric research, sourcing, and yield calculation to optimize production and quality.

You will collaborate with design, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure on-time fabric buys, accurate costing, and smooth supplier relations, leveraging PLM and MS Office tools for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Textile preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent eye for color.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• PLM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with design to research and recommend suppliers and fabrics, considering pricing and issues.
• Review each fabric for price, delivery, and characteristics.
• Calculate fabric yields (consumption) for each style.
• Place and track all fabric buys throughout the cycle.
• Resolve issues between mills and factories (quality, delivery, payment).
• Manage department systems (calendar, PLM, reporting, fabric filing).
