Job summary

Timken is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily assembly operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals while coaching a team on the shop floor. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer commitments.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and ERP proficiency, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience supervising production employees including performance management and coaching.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity expectations in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Provide hands-on supervision for production teams and develop capabilities.
• Maintain on-the-floor presence with timely coaching and support to staff.
• Promote safety culture and ensure adherence to EHS policies and practices.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, equipment utilization, and waste reduction.
• Monitor schedules and performance to support on-time delivery and customer commitments.
