Job summary

Timken Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily assembly operations and drive safety, quality, and efficiency. You will provide hands-on leadership to production employees, develop team capabilities, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives on the floor.

The role requires 7+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience supervising production employees, including performance management and coaching.
• Strong safety, quality, delivery, and productivity knowledge in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision for multiple production areas to meet safety, quality, and output goals.
• Lead and support teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor with coaching and communication.
• Promote safety culture and enforce EHS policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Monitor schedules and production performance to ensure on-time delivery.
