Job summary

imogene + willie, based in Nashville, seeks an experienced production manager to oversee all aspects of the production process for accessories and apparel, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

You will transition from development to production, manage calendars, oversee POs and vendor terms, and contribute to a new PLM system implementation while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Ability to see the big picture while managing numerous details.
• Must be an inspiring team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in apparel production with domestic factories.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office & PLM.
• Fluency in Spanish not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and the production team.
• Manage transition from development into production and hand off technical design packages to suppliers.
• Maintain internal and external calendars to meet production delivery demands.
• Monitor timelines for fit, fabric, trim, wash development, and color standards to meet deadlines.
• Communicate daily with vendor partners to solve problems and keep production on track.
• Manage and oversee all purchase orders.
• Assist in implementing a new PLM system as the company grows.
• Monitor vendor terms, invoicing and payments; maintain strong financial relationships.
• Manage the costing of all products and report production updates and potential delivery issues.
