Job summary

Old Navy is seeking a Denim Design Lead to shape our Men’s Denim assortment. You will translate creative direction into customer-relevant product, partnering with leadership to drive trend-right, durable styles across fits and washes.

You will research market trends, develop seasonal concepts, and collaborate with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design to ensure seamless execution from concept to customer. Strong denim knowledge and Illustrator skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of men’s denim, including fit, fabrication, washes, and construction.
• Strong design aesthetic with a customer-focused lens.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple seasons.
• Adobe Illustrator with a strong technical foundation in garment construction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to execute the creative direction for Men’s Denim, translating vision into compelling, customer-relevant product.
• Research trends, market insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities in fits, washes, fabrics, and finishes.
• Design and develop seasonal denim concepts—from sketches to final product—across a range of fits and styles.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, and Sourcing to ensure seamless execution from concept to customer.
• Create and communicate clear design intent through tech packs and ongoing cross-functional partnerships.
