Job summary
Synthomer plc seeks a Senior Production Engineer to support the Jefferson site in Jefferson Hills, PA. You will monitor operations, analyze data, and drive reliability improvements across a large chemical processing plant.
You will collaborate with SHES, Maintenance, and Product Development teams to deliver debottlenecking, safety improvements, and capacity expansions while mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Requires a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and extensive manufacturing experience.
- Strong ability to interface with operations and maintenance teams to lead cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and data analysis skills to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to manufacturing units to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Lead incident investigations for process and equipment failures as needed.
- Coordinate capital projects to improve productivity and capacity in manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers to develop technical skills and plant knowledge.
