Job summary

Super Color Digital, LLC seeks a Production Coordinator to manage the entire production floor, ensuring safe, efficient, and flawless execution of Work Orders. The role involves coordinating with department leads, approving jobs, maintaining quality, and generating status reports to resolve on-floor issues.

The coordinator will support purchasing, stock, shipping, receiving and drivers, daily production meetings, and training of staff to uphold standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in graphics industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience in production management.
• Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and/or Six Sigma training or equivalent experience.
• Visionary with innovative processes.
• Available during off hours via company cell phone.
• Works with a keen sense of urgency and time conscientiousness.
• Possess common sense.
• Ability to manage failures and crises calmly.
• Ability to recommend and implement solutions to address production problems.

Responsibilities

• Request the purchase of necessary materials for the Production staff.
• Manage the operation of the entire Production floor.
• Maintain Production quality.
• Daily checks of every department for safety and efficiency.
• Approve jobs in the Production Manager bin and stage them with computer software.
• Sign off on job approvals of rejected merchandise when applicable.
• Ensure each department meets quality standards before moving to the next stage.
• Stage jobs in Production, starting with Preflight, using the computer system.
• Attend Production meetings and report status of current and open Work Orders.
• Create spreadsheets and documents describing status of Work Orders and procedures.
• Oversee all production departments including purchasing, stockroom, shipping, receiving and drivers.
• Adhere to scheduled timelines for all shipments.
• Create Daily Production Reports for the Director of Operations.
• Maintain lockdown protocols for secured graphic projects.
• Manage unacceptable employee performance with disciplinary actions and evaluations.
• Host daily operation and status meetings across departments.
• Oversee daily requirements and scheduling for next shift.
• Train personnel to lead, coach and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with Director of Operations and implement decisions through department leads.
• Verify all Work Order information before accepting jobs and ensure accuracy before shipping.
