Job summary

Blue Origin in Delaware is seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to join our Operations team and help lead integrated supply chain, test operations, safety, quality, and mission assurance initiatives. You will work across manufacturing and launch operations to ensure budgets, milestones, and material requirements are met.

You will partner with the Director of Production Control to forecast and reconcile actuals, drive continuous improvement, and lead efforts to refine manufacturing

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree or equivalent in supply chain management and/or engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment; MES/PLM experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with teams, internal customers and suppliers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teams across large geographic distances.
• Continuous improvement mindset; always optimizing processes.

Responsibilities

• Meet milestones and budgets for production and launch operations.
• Assist the Director of Production Control with budget prep, forecasting, and reconciliation of actuals.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain schedules and material requirements.
• Ensure training and skills development; mentor early career team members.
• Identify risks to schedules and personnel and develop mitigation actions.
• Define system requirements for manufacturing software and coordinate with development teams to implement solutions.
