Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee design development, coordination, and administration on a complex construction project in Augusta, GA. You will manage budgets, submittals, and change orders while coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and owners to ensure project success.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least four years of related experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in BIM and LEAN concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors and Owner's Representatives.
• Oversee and make decisions related to contract drawings and subcontract information.
• Manage the project budget.
• Manage submittals and shop drawings; ensure conformance to contract specifications.
• Negotiate Change Orders and manage changes in the Work with coordination of estimates and approvals.
• Oversee close-out process; prepare final records (RFIs, warranties, as-builts, O&Ms).
• Supervise junior staff including interns and engineers; provide input on performance.
