Job summary

Turner is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee construction programs in Albany, NY. You will manage information to deliver on-time, within budget, and per contract quality, supervising engineers, assistants, and interns.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with at least four years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to read and interpret contract documents and schedules. BIM/LEAN experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of four years' related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Utilizes BIM and LEAN technologies on projects.

Responsibilities

• Acting as liaison with Architects, Subcontractors, Consultants, Suppliers, Inspectors and Owner's Representatives.
• Overseeing drawings, contract information, and ensuring proper relation to estimates.
• Managing the project budget and submittals.
• Managing shop drawings and change orders; resolving interpretation conflicts.
• Overseeing close-out processes and final project records.
• Supervising engineers, assistants, clerks, and interns; contributing to performance reviews.
