Job summary

Think of Us in Washington, DC is seeking a Lead Product Design and UX Designer to own the end-to-end experience across ConnectMe and related initiatives. You will drive product strategy, research, and service design for a hybrid team, ensuring AI-enabled features are trustworthy and human-centered.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Program teams to shape how AI appears in the user experience, and to define design quality, scoping, and release decisions.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in product design, UX, or service design with shipped software products.
• Strong interaction design fundamentals including flows, states, IA, and high/low-fidelity prototypes.
• Experience designing AI-powered interfaces and making algorithmic outputs legible and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Design and UX for ConnectMe and CheckForUs, defining flows, IA, and interaction patterns.
• Lead research and discovery across youth, families, and staff to shape product decisions.
• Oversee service design from end-to-end journey to ensure seamless software and operational workflows.
• Shape AI experience, ensure trust, and collaborate with Data & AI teams on quality and patterns.
