Job summary
Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Product TPM to lead cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and supply chain for manufacturing operation readiness of new products.
You will collaborate with R&D and ODM to manage deployment risk, define integration strategies, and drive cost-effective, reliable supply chains that support global manufacturing and on-time product launches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 5+ years experience managing hardware product development and new product introduction with global manufacturing scale.
- Experience managing manufacturing operation, quality, supply chain enablement, operation process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team to deliver AWS roadmap for manufacturing readiness for new product release.
- Drive manufacturing capability and capacity enablement strategy and implementation for new product releases.
- Work with R&D and ODM to manage new product/technology deployment risk.
- Ensure manufacturing infrastructure and manufacturing capability are planned ahead for NPI release.
- Drive DFx to improve design for manufacturability, quality, serviceability and cost.
- Define integration strategy to drive cost-effective and reliable supply chain setup.
- Manage supply chain readiness through extended team for critical commodity supply readiness.
- Coordinate with AWS, ODM and CMs on NPI program details and readiness.
