Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Wisconsin to drive advanced test development and analysis for power tool products. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to reliability improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with design, marketing and manufacturing, manage requirements, perform data-driven failure analyses, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver robust, user-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, robotics or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, systems, reliability or similar.
• Experience with requirements management and leading a project function.
• Background in test development, data collection and analytics.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills including DOE, regression, FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for product testing, reliability, requirements management and warranty analysis.
• Collaborate with design and marketing to define product life, durability and user needs.
• Lead design reviews and communicate project status, risks and readiness.
• Develop and execute reliability, design and validation assessments.
• Ensure completion of product qualification test plans including functional tests.
• Develop test procedures and prove out methods for power tools.
• Analyze risk and usage data with statistical methods and report findings.
• Perform root cause analyses for life testing issues and field use.
• Engage in end-user research events to identify CtQ requirements.
• Coordinate with global engineers, suppliers and manufacturing on product commercialization.
• Track multiple projects to ensure schedules and Milwaukee Tool processes.
