Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to join the Downtown Milwaukee team. You will contribute intermediate to advanced engineering skills across product development, testing, and post‑launch activities, working with an interdisciplinary group to deliver high‑performance heavy‑duty products.

You will analyze data, develop test plans, and identify critical requirements while collaborating with Marketing and Engineering. Travel ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent; 2–5+ years in reliability/quality.
  • Experience with new product commercialization processes.
  • Training in quality engineering fundamentals and project leadership.
  • DOE, life data analysis and statistics; familiarity with Minitab/Reliasoft.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving; travel ~10%.
  • ASQ CRE or DFSS/Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams for new product designs with reliability focus.
  • Identify critical-to-quality user needs in design features.
  • Track multiple projects to maintain schedules.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering on reliability tasks.
  • Develop test plans to ensure product requirements are met.
  • Analyze data with Weibull distributions and present results.
  • Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
