Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Product Strategy and Development Lead to oversee In-Plan Retirement Income product initiatives. You will provide technical oversight, collaborate with PMs, and coordinate with IT, Marketing, Legal, Operations, and actuarial teams to advance product initiatives.

The role demands strategic thinking, strong communication, and deep regulatory know-how, with a focus on growing the product portfolio and market reach across multiple regions in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related field.
• 8+ years in Annuity, Retirement Plan and Financial Services industry.
• 5+ years in Annuity Product Development and Management.
• Experience launching products through complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Strong ability to think critically and analyze information and implications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor competitive landscape and assess impact on positioning of proprietary offerings.
• Identify market opportunities to expand into new markets and diversify the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with project manager and cross-functional teams to scope and document complex requirements for new/enhanced capabilities.
• Contribute to risk management and governance for product design, pricing, and market competitiveness.
• Monitor product suite performance to identify drivers and detractors for future changes.
• Define and execute short- and long-term product strategies based on market, regulatory, and industry trends.
