The Mobile Workstation Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and managing products within the ThinkPad Mobile Workstation portfolio. Based at the U.S. headquarters in Morrisville, North Carolina, this role translates customer workflows, market trends, competitive insights, and technology roadmaps into differentiated products that deliver workstation-class performance, reliability, mobility, and professional-grade capabilities. The role partners closely with Product Development, Engineering, Industrial Design, User Experience, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, Service, Finance, Worldwide Marketing, Sales, regional product teams, ISVs, and technology partners to bring compelling mobile workstation offerings to market.
The ideal candidate combines strategic product thinking, strong technical and commercial judgment, customer focus, and disciplined execution. This individual must be comfortable leading in a global, cross-functional environment, influencing without direct authority, and making clear recommendations when priorities or requirements conflict.
