Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Global Product Manager for Workstation Graphics to lead the cross-functional efforts in positioning and managing graphics components within the Workstation Portfolio. You will define market requirements, strategy, and competitive analysis while engaging with executives and customers globally.

The role requires 5+ years in product management for technical products and strong cross-functional collaboration, with a proven ability to drive launches and develop sales tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience for technical products.
  • 5+ years of sales enablement experience.
  • End-to-end product life cycle management from inception to end of life.
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • External partner relationship experience.
  • Demonstrated 4P planning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers (internal and external) to help bring new requirements into the business.
  • Define graphics strategy in next generation products in collaboration with Desktop and Mobile Segment leads.
  • Work with geographies on volume planning and forecasting.
  • Interact and negotiate with all local teams in geographies selling ThinkStation products.
  • Provide graphics education to geography product and sales teams.
  • Interact with cross-functional areas to bring product to market.
  • Market message creation, product positioning, sales enablement pricing, and competitive analysis by geography.
  • Product life cycle management (cradle to grave) including launch planning and execution for a global market.
  • Develop sales tools.

Description and Requirements

As the Global Product Manager - Workstation Graphics, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary organization to manage and position Graphics components within the Workstation Portfolio as well as potential future technologies. Specific responsibilities will include defining market requirements, product/portfolio strategy and positioning, competitive analysis, sales engagement and communication, and demand generation. We are looking for an energetic candidate who is comfortable presenting to external customers, as well as internal executives, and is passionate about creating products that delight users.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Work with customers (internal and external) to help bring new requirements into the business
  • Work with Desktop and Mobile Segment leads to help define the graphics strategy in next generation products
  • Work with geographies on volume planning and forecasting
  • Interact and negotiate with all local teams in geographies selling ThinkStation products
  • Provide graphics education to geography product and sales teams
  • Interact with cross-functional areas to bring product to market
  • Market message creation, product positioning, sales enablement pricing, and competitive analysis by geography
  • Product life cycle management (cradle to grave) including launch planning and execution for a global market
  • Develop sales tools
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience for technical products
  • 5+ years of sales enablement experience
  • Previous responsibility for a product/product segment from inception to end of life; includes business case development, gathering market requirements, launch planning, execution, and product performance tracking at all levels
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course and make tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues
  • Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated successful 4P planning experience
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and customer orientation
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • External partner relationship experience
