Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a security architect to own the security architecture for Bits Code, from design through production, working with engineers, product, infrastructure, and security teams to build a secure product.

You will shape the product by identifying risks and developing threat models for agentic systems. Datadog offers a hybrid work environment, competitive salary and equity, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, Eng, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant security experience.
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries.
• Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale.
• Familiar with agentic system security risks and design.
• Pragmatic security trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design to production.
• Collaborate with Eng, Product, Infra, and Security to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help ship secure software quickly by maintaining core libraries, and guiding processes and culture.
• Collaborate with sandbox teams on how Bits Code executes untrusted workloads.
• Be on call; Datadog culture is that you build it, you run it.
