Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Architect to own the security architecture of Bits Code from design through production.

You will work with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product, building threat models for agent risks and enabling fast, secure software delivery. The role requires building secure systems at scale, designing against agentic risks, and applying pragmatic security trade-offs.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of professional experience with security architecture.
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries.
• Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale.
• Familiar with security risks in agentic systems and able to design against them.
• Pragmatic security trade-offs are valued.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production operation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help the team ship secure software quickly by maintaining core libraries and guiding processes and culture.
• Coordinate with sandbox teams on execution of untrusted workloads.
