Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a security-focused leader to own Bits Code security architecture from design to production, working with engineering and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.

Responsibilities include threat modeling, building secure core libraries, and guiding secure processes while collaborating with sandbox teams to safely execute untrusted workloads. On-call duties are included as part of Datadog’s culture.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional security experience with a background in product or application security.
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries.
• Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale.
• Familiar with security risks in agentic systems; able to design against them.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production operation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help ship secure software quickly by writing and maintaining core libraries and guiding processes.
• Coordinate with sandbox teams on how Bits Code executes untrusted workloads.
• Be on call; operational responsibility is part of the role.
