Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Architect to own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production operations.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product, building threat models for agent risks and guiding secure software delivery. The role requires experience across trust boundaries, operating large-scale systems, and pragmatic security trade-offs.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years in product security, app security, or security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
• Create threat models for new and existing agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help ship secure software fast by writing/maintaining core libraries and guiding security processes.
• Coordinate with sandbox teams on how Bits Code executes untrusted workloads.
• Be on call per Datadog culture: you build it, you run it.
