Job summary

Tempus Technologies is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives. Based remotely, you will own the product vision, manage large backlogs, and align stakeholders to deliver outcomes that drive business value.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Delivery teams to stabilize delivery and scale processes across programs, ensuring customer-centric outcomes and clear execution discipline.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years as Product Owner or Senior Product Manager.
• Experience in Payments and/or Financial Services.
• Ability to manage large backlogs, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven delivery mindset focused on outcomes, not just artifacts.
• Experience as lead PO across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Product Owner for high-complexity, multi-workstream initiatives.
• Drive alignment across stakeholders on priorities, scope, and outcomes.
• Establish and reinforce execution discipline: backlog clarity, planning rigor, outcome tracking.
• Improve visibility and transparency across initiatives for product leadership and partners.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Delivery to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Owns the vision and definition of the product; voice of the Customer.
• Prioritize and groom the product backlog; provide clear decisions for the team.
