Job summary

Midcontinent-Independent-System is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the Cognite Platform to shape vision, strategy, and roadmap for an enterprise data integration platform. You will align with stakeholders, engineers, and the Cognite Platform team to translate business needs into innovative solutions that leverage the platform.

You will drive adoption, manage a large enterprise product, guide MVP development for Cognite implementation, and ensure the platform evolves to meet current operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Six+ years in product management/ownership, plus ten years in scientific/engineering/energy industries.
• Ability to define strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience applying AI tools in product management to improve productivity and workflow.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and data integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for an enterprise-wide product line.
• Serve as the product evangelist, aligning cross-functional teams around objectives and value.
• Demonstrate understanding of the product's value and track emerging user needs and trends.
• Lead development of product metrics to guide strategy and measure success.
• Lead discovery efforts and ensure insights inform portfolio decisions.
• Apply Agile and modern product-management best practices across teams.
• Lead end-to-end Agile delivery, manage backlog, and plan strategic releases.
