Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Product Owner / Architect to unify product strategy and solution architecture across Pharmacy, PCO, Home Solutions, and Humana Military. You will own cross-segment roadmaps while authoring architectural blueprints and governing ADRs to ensure interoperable health solutions enterprise-wide.

You will lead architecture reviews, define API standards, and collaborate with security, data, and compliance to deliver compliant, scalable healthcare platforms leveraging Azure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience in product management or solution architecture.
• 5+ years in healthcare IT with HIPAA/PHI, HITECH experience.
• Experience owning cross-functional backlogs and roadmaps at executive level.
• Hands-on Azure cloud architecture and data platform experience.
• Proficiency in API design, interoperability standards, and governance.
• Experience in enterprise governance forums (ARB/TRB/MOR).
• Familiarity with SAFe delivery models and PI planning.
• Executive-level communication skills for senior audiences.
• Generative AI experience in clinical or health care contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-segment product strategy and shared platform roadmaps.
• Serve as architectural decision-maker and maintain ADRs.
• Backlog ownership for shared platforms with acceptance criteria and NFRs.
• Lead governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Define integration contracts and data boundaries for cross-segment flows.
• Promote platform reuse and justify consolidation across segments.
• Bridge between business leaders, engineering, and CIO teams.
