Job summary

Humana is seeking a Principal Product Owner / Architect to unite product strategy and solution architecture across four core segments. You will own cross-segment roadmaps while authoring architectural blueprints that underpin them, partnering with engineering, security, data, and compliance to deliver interoperable health solutions.

You will lead governance forums, translate vision into executable runways, and drive platform consolidation where it yields efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
10+ years in IT with product mgmt and/or solution architecture.
5+ years in healthcare IT with regulated environments.
Experience translating governance outputs into actionable direction.
Proven backlog & roadmap ownership across multiple segments.

Responsibilities

Define and own a unified cross-segment product roadmap.
Establish and maintain reference architectures and integration standards.
Lead cross-segment discovery, design workshops, and architecture reviews.
Own top-level backlogs for shared platforms with acceptance criteria and NFRs.
Define integration contracts and API standards for cross-segment data flows.
Lead architecture checkpoints and governance forum representation.
Translate product vision into runways and delivery-ready specifications.
Identify opportunities for component reuse and platform consolidation.
Act as the primary liaison among segment business leaders, engineering, and CIO teams.
