Job summary

Alpine, an ITW Company seeks an experienced Product Owner to drive the product vision, translate it into actionable roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery across agile teams.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Support and Engineering to balance customer value, quality, and schedule. The role requires strong UX understanding, clear stakeholder communication, and a willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Business, Marketing, or comparable discipline; MBA is a plus.
• 4+ years’ experience as a Product Owner or similar with a development team.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred.
• Software product strategy and management experience with demonstrated value delivery.
• Experience with complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experience.
• Experience leading software product development in Agile (Scrum/SAFe).
• Strong team/project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic and able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the product roadmap for a specific focus area.
• Translate strategic direction from Product Managers into actionable development plans.
• Partner with Development Managers to manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release scope.
• Apply ITW’s CBI framework to identify and prioritize customer pain points.
• Translate insights into product requirements and features.
• Validate concepts directly with users and iterate based on feedback.
• Create and maintain clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Ensure the backlog remains prioritized and refined.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to align designs with user needs and business objectives.
• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Development, and UI/UX Design daily.
