Job summary

Checkr is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Verifications product who will own strategy and roadmap for core verification experiences. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and GTM to ship market-leading products, guided by data and direct customer input to improve accuracy and speed in the hiring process.

You will lead pricing discussions with Finance, write precise PRDs, and drive go-to-market coordination for releases, while modeling Checkr values and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of product management experience with strategy/roadmap ownership.
• Deep fluency with data and analytics; comfortable defining metrics like attach rate, conversion rate, and RPR.
• Comfortable partnering with engineering on API/platform decisions or system constraints.
• Strong customer discovery instincts; direct customer conversations inform product hypotheses.
• Proven ability to write crisp PRDs and specs without manager guidance.
• Experience navigating ambiguity and driving cross-functional alignment across GTM, Ops, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for Checkr's Verifications products; align with customer needs and GTM input.
• Represent customer needs directly in product and technical design discussions.
• Track competitor moves and market shifts to inform roadmap priorities.
• Define and drive OKRs; connect input metrics (attach rate, conversion rate, RPR) to revenue impact.
• Write clear specs and PRDs; lead reviews balancing speed, quality, and customer impact.
• Partner with Finance/GTM to define pricing and packaging for your product area.
• Lead go-to-market coordination for releases, include enablement and rollout sequencing.
• Communicate roadmap, goals, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
• Model Checkr's values and build strong relationships within and beyond your team.
