Job summary

Pearson Professional Assessments seeks an Advanced Specialist Product Manager to lead Test Security Platforms with accountability across Identity, Behavior, Location, Platform and Environment. You will shape a shared security platform, informed by threat intelligence, and drive a capabilities roadmap across market-facing and internal apps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management, including 3+ years owning security, identity, fraud, risk or trust‑and‑safety products.
• Ownership of a platform or shared‑services product consumed by multiple internal teams or channels.
• Experience with detection or classification products built on AI/ML, with a focus on precision/recall trade‑offs.
• Experience in a regulated, high‑stakes environment where errors have real consequences.
• Roadmap driven by market and threat intelligence rather than inbound customer requirements.
• Strong written communication capable of explaining security trade‑offs to executives and engineers.
• Experience transitioning from project delivery to product management.
• Background in assessment, certification, proctoring, biometrics or online examination integrity.
• Exposure to accessibility and equitable access tensions.

Responsibilities

• Domain and platform product ownership for five security domains and shared platform capabilities.
• Market intelligence and outside‑in discovery to shape the roadmap.
• Evidence, measurement and model performance to ensure controls are defensible.
• Delivery partnership with Engineering, Architecture and Security Operations to ship outcomes.
• Advancing how we work by adopting a durable product ownership model across the portfolio.
