Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist Product Manager to lead security platforms for Test Security. You will own domain and platform roadmaps across Identity, Behavior, Location, Platform and Environment, and define reusable security capabilities that scale across products.

You will fuse market and threat intelligence with product decisions, partnering with Engineering Delivery, Architecture and Security Operations to ship secure, compliant solutions with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management including security ownership.
• Ownership of a platform or shared-services product used by multiple teams.
• Experience with detection or classification AI/ML and the precision/recall trade-off.
• Experience in regulated, high-stakes environments (assessment, identity, fraud, etc.).
• Evidence-based roadmap driven by market and threat intelligence.
• Strong written communication skills for executives and engineers.
• Experience transitioning from project/program delivery to product management.
• Background in assessment, certification, proctoring, biometrics or online examination integrity.
• Exposure to accessibility and equitable access considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own a persistent, outcome-based roadmap for each domain across five areas.
• Design security as a shared platform with reusable capabilities and integration patterns.
• Maintain a live capability gap analysis by domain and address weaknesses.
• Input market and threat intelligence into the roadmap and monitor landscape.
• Collaborate with Engineering Delivery, Architecture and Security Operations throughout production life.
• Write clear problem statements, decisions and product narratives for all audiences.
• Sequence work by outcomes and dependencies, ensuring production readiness.
