Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead the Switching solutions program. This role focuses on developing platform/product visions, translating business needs into features, and working with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact capabilities.

The candidate will drive data-driven decisions, monitor KPIs, and collaborate across teams to scale platform products.

Qualifications

• Experience building complex business/transactional models in product lines, e-commerce, or strategic planning.
• Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment.
• Experience and proficiency with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS), microservice design, near real-time, scalable, fault-tolerant platform design, API design, and distributed systems in a DevOps model.
• Proven track record of data-driven decision making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams.

Responsibilities

• Sets the vision and direction for the platform design of assigned products.
• Exhibits expertise across multiple platform products and builds connections to resources to drive strategy.
• Identifies risks and proposes solutions to address them; monitors feature development and defects at the platform product level.
• Uses data to make decisions and analyzes KPIs to move them positively.
• Manages escalations, plans resolutions, and delivers post-launch reviews incorporating feedback.
• Represents Mastercard with external stakeholders during roadmap discussions and drives adoption of platform products across marketplaces.
