Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to drive strategic product initiatives across an enterprise product line.

You will partner with developers, designers, and business leaders to translate market needs into value, and to maintain a competitive product backlog that delivers measurable business impact. You will lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, applying XP-inspired practices such as pairing, test-driven development, and continuous delivery, while guiding more junior

Qualifications

3-6 years of relevant work experience
Experience with product management in a modern software development enterprise
Experience with agile methods and XP principles (paired programming, TDD, continuous deployment)
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift
Strong communication and influence across all organizational levels
Experience creating, prioritizing and accepting user stories and conducting user research

Responsibilities

Define product strategy and translate goals into priorities for the development teams
Manage and groom the product backlog and inform release planning
Collaborate with finance to understand business needs and plans
Monitor market and competitive landscape to keep products best in class
Balance user needs with business goals to drive sales and efficiency
Lead standups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives
Guide junior team members in strategy and execution
Foster collaboration across Engineering, UX and other partners
