Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a senior Product Management Leader to guide the enterprise product line, driving strategy, execution and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design and business partners. This role focuses on creating value, improving customer satisfaction and sales through quality products.

The Sr. Manager will lead managers and teams, influence roadmaps, and drive change management and process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 6-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Mastery of working as a Product Manager in a modern software development based enterprise environment and overseeing multiple products.
• Mastery of modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies, specifically XP principles of paired programming, test driven development and continuous deployment.
• Proficiency in communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization.
• Proficiency in creating, prioritizing and accepting user stories.
• Proficiency in conducting user research and testing to understand needs.
• Mastery of identifying goals, metrics and analytics to measure product value.
• Proficiency in conducting competitive research and analysis.
• Proficiency in guiding more junior team members through Product Management fundamentals in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Set overall product vision and strategies for the enterprise product by understanding customer and associate needs to deliver an unparalleled shopping experience for Home Depot customers and associates.
• Collaborate across the enterprise to create alignment between products for a seamless user experience.
• Lead product teams to deliver value and meet strategic, financial and technical goals.
• Review performance and direct work efforts of product teams to ensure alignment with priorities.
• Provide guidance on design of products while balancing dependencies and integration with other products across the enterprise.
• Mentor and develop Product Managers; foster collaboration with Engineering, UX and other teams.
