Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Product Manager to own a dedicated SOC tooling team focused on security workflows and internal platforms. You’ll collaborate with SOC leadership, engineering, and design to deliver operator-facing tooling that improves analyst throughput and time-to-close.

You will translate security operations needs into scalable product features, work in a remote-first environment across the US, and drive initiatives from discovery through launch with a data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management for cybersecurity products
• Direct SOC experience and familiarity with SOC tooling
• Experience building internal-facing operator tooling
• Strong understanding of analyst workflows and incident lifecycles
• Background in security analyst roles or equivalent
• Experience owning shared services or platform interfaces
• Experience using AI tools in products (e.g., Claude)
• Comfort with operational metrics and investment rationale
• Experience in agile development environment
• MSP/MSSP or mid-market experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set the SOC tooling vision with Director of Product and SOC leadership
• Own roadmap for analyst UX, Rapid/Tactical tooling, product support and SOC platform
• Own shared investigation/evidence model interfaces for internal teams
• Turn manual internal processes into automation-first workflows
• Own Portal Enhancement Kit and extend internal tooling into the product
• Translate operator needs into concrete product solutions
• Create epics and user stories with designers/engineers
• Contribute across discovery to launch
• Protect resiliency and manage technical debt
• Bridge engineering and executives with clear explanations
• Produce mockups/wireframes/prototypes with design/engineer teams
• Define and report key metrics like time-to-close and throughput
