Job summary

Huntress seeks an entry-level SOC Support Specialist to assist partners in understanding and responding to security incidents from a remote US location. You will coordinate with Security Operations, Product Support, Engineering, and Sales to manage the incident lifecycle.

In this role you will manage a global support queue, communicate clearly via email, chat, and phone, and progressively gain independence through structured training and shadowing in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-focused during incidents.
• Follow a documented process and escalate when needed.
• Availability for occasional weekend or on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage work in the global SOC Support queue.
• Provide clear, timely partner support via email, chat, and phone.
• Conduct or support outbound partner outreach for urgent situations.
• Translate SOC findings into practical guidance for partners.
• Lead or support partner calls for high-severity incidents; capture timelines and decisions.
• Provide scheduled live-time coverage for phone and chat.
• Investigate partner questions using approved resources and runbooks.
• Escalate issues to the correct team with proper context and follow-up.
