Job summary

Skechers U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to lead strategy, development, and optimization of our retail planning systems. You will collaborate with merchandising, IT, and vendor teams to drive forecasting, assortment planning, and replenishment through integrated tools.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, system implementation, and strong SDLC/BA practices, with close attention to user needs and business value across Skechers’ merchandising ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or comparable relevant degree.
• 5+ years of product management or program management experience in retail-focused businesses.
• Proven experience as a merchant Buyer, planner or Allocator OR experience managing and using tool sets that enable this function within a retail organization (e.g., O9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, JDA, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan) with a strong preference on O9.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for merchandising planning systems, aligning with business goals.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and retail planning best practices to enhance system capabilities.
• Prioritize features and system enhancements based on user needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
• Work with merchandising, planning, inventory, and supply chain teams to translate business challenges into system requirements.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and vendors to enable seamless integration with ERP, POS, and BI tools.
• Lead end-to-end implementation, upgrades, and integration of merchandising planning systems (e.g., o9, Blue Yonder, JDA, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan).
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track merchandising and inventory KPIs, and apply AI/ML forecasting to improve planning accuracy.
