Xsolla is seeking a technical product manager to own the ranking and recommendation engine behind its Advertising Products. You will define objectives, guardrails, and metric definitions while collaborating with ML and data teams to translate model performance into revenue impact.

The role spans ML, analytics, ads operations, and commercial groups, with a focus on mobile game monetization. You will partner with cross-functional teams to own the product roadmap, ensure rigorous experimentation,

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with 3+ years owning a recommendation, ranking, personalization, or relevance system in production.
• Deep understanding of experiment design and inference, including MDE, power, SRC, A/A testing, multiple-comparison correction, and pre-registration.
• Hands-on experience with ML and data platforms, including modelling concepts and metrics.
• Knowledge of performance advertising economics and ad tech ecosystems, including eCPM, RPU, bid multipliers, and attribution models.
• SQL you write yourself and ability to read application code to verify claims.

Responsabilités

• Own the recommendation engine as a product: ranking, relevance, and the model roadmap.
• Set the objective the ranker optimises for, the constraints it works within, and guardrails and kill conditions.
• Own metric definitions and the definitional questions that change the answer.
• Collaborate with ML frameworks, experiment design, hold-outs, and readouts for business stakeholders.
• Contribute ranking perspective to the wider ads roadmap, tying pricing, identity, and telemetry to ranking.
