Job summary

Xsolla is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the recommendation engine behind our advertising products. Lead ranking quality, objective setting, and governance, interfacing with ML and analytics teams to move from model development to measurable revenue impact.

You will shape the model roadmap, guardrails, and key performance metrics, communicating clearly with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders across ad tech and product lines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with focus on recommendation/ranking systems.
• Deep understanding of experiment design, inference, and readouts for solid claims.

Responsibilities

• Own the recommendation engine as a product: ranking, relevance, and model roadmap.
• Set objective the ranker optimises for and define guardrails and kill conditions.
• Own metric definitions and ensure consistency across the team.
• Collaborate with ML frameworks, experiment design, and validity checks.
• Coordinate with DS on readouts to translate model results to business impact.
• Contribute ranking perspective to the wider ads roadmap, including pricing and identity.
