Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments to reshape how customers repay. You will own end-to-end experiences, partner with Design, Analytics, Finance, and Engineering, and translate customer needs into scalable payment features.

This role spans discovery through launch, with emphasis on experimentation, conversion, and cost optimization. You will influence senior leaders and drive a strategic roadmap in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor: comfortable in data; use experiments and customer research to make decisions.
• Curiosity about customers; drive to fix breakdowns in experiences.
• Experience discussing system design and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Track record of taking products from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Clear communication and influence across Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, Partnerships; senior leaders without formal authority.
• Bonus: payments, fintech, or e-commerce experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Aff.
• Focus on customers; uncover where paying breaks down via research and data; share insights across the team.
• Create new payment experiences; collaborate with Design and Analytics from discovery to launch.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively; weigh performance and risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships; explore opportunities, assess impact, define sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes; present strategy to senior leaders.
