Job summary

Okta seeks a Senior Product Manager, Policies, to own the strategy and execution of the authentication policy roadmap. You will define how Okta evaluates risk and context to determine when a user or machine can authenticate, covering Application Sign-On Policy, Global Session Policy, OAMP, and Device Signal Collection Policy.

You will work with engineering, design, and other product teams to evolve policy capabilities at scale, including change management and identity operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in identity, security, enterprise-scale, platform, or developer products.
• Ability to discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
• Connect platform decisions to business outcomes and market position.
• Empathize with customer problems before designing solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; balance detail and executive narrative.
• Entrepreneurial, ownership mindset; drive ambiguous problems forward.
• Collaborative by default; bring partners in early to inform direction.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and prioritization for the Policies product area.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to ship policy features with strong UX and security.
• Drive direction for Policy Framework, Policy API, and Auth Pipeline.
• Define operational rollout, versioning, auditing, and rollback processes.
• Translate customer needs into concrete product requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate specs, analysis, and prototyping.
• Coordinate with global teams for successful policy launch and adoption.
• Serve as SME in escalations, executive briefings, and enterprise evaluations.
