Job summary

Okta seeks a Senior Product Manager, Policies, to own the strategy and execution for the authentication policy roadmap. You will shape how policy decisions affect security and user experience across Okta’s platform, collaborating with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.

You will drive the Policy Framework, Policy API, and Auth Pipeline evolution, balancing customer needs with scale, governance, and change management to deliver differentiated policy capabilities for enterprise users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in identity, security, enterprise-scale, platform, or developer products.
• Ability to have in-depth technical discussions with engineering teams.
• Ability to connect platform-level decisions to business outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset.
• Collaborative by default with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and prioritization for your product area balancing customer requests and platform needs.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to define, scope, and ship policies with strong UX and security.
• Drive direction for Policy Framework, Policy API, and Auth Pipeline.
• Define operational changes—versioning, rollout, auditability, rollback.
• Work with customers and Solutions Engineering to translate needs into requirements.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate spec writing and competitive analysis.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure successful launch and adoption.
• Represent Policies in escalations, executive briefings, and enterprise discussions.
