Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Policies, to own the strategy and execution of Okta's authentication policy roadmap. You will shape how policies assess risk and context for authenticating users, devices, and agents at scale, collaborating with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.

You will lead the policy framework and API direction, manage rollout and identity operations, and drive policy adoption across the platform while aligning with Okta's business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in product management.
• Experience in identity, security, enterprise-scale products.
• Ability to have in-depth technical discussions with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and prioritization for the policy product area.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to ship policies with best-in-class UX while meeting security needs.
• Drive direction for the Policy Framework, Policy API, and Auth Pipeline that underpin policy evaluation across Okta.
• Define operational rollout, versioning, auditability, and rollback as part of change management and identity operations.
• Work with customers and cross-functional partners to translate policy needs into requirements.
• Use AI tools to accelerate spec writing, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure successful launch and adoption of policy-related experiences.
• Represent Policies in customer escalations, executive briefings, and enterprise evaluations.
