Job summary

dbt Labs in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the identity, access, and deployment aspects of the dbt platform. You will shape how authentication and authorization are implemented across the product, while collaborating with IAM and Transport teams to meet enterprise security standards.

You will lead initiatives to improve SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and PrivateLink, expand deployment regions, and ensure a scalable, secure login experience for thousands of enterprise users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in identity, access management, security, or infrastructure products.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for identity, access, and deployment across the dbt platform — from auth primitives to admin surfaces customers configure themselves.
• Make enterprise security a differentiator by implementing SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and PrivateLink beyond table stakes.
• Lead the multi-tenant migration to a modern deployment model without a visible seam, including domain and subdomain changes.
• Unlock new geographies and clouds by determining data residency, regional isolation, and cloud provider parity requirements.
• Own the front door: login, sign-up, and account discovery to maximize value and minimize onboarding friction.
• Give admins real leverage over users, groups, invites, and permissions for self-serve provisioning at scale.
• Be the product voice in enterprise security reviews and translate roadmap into sales-ready outcomes.
• Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on telemetry and observability to monitor and maintain trusted operations.
