Job summary

HealthStream, a leader in healthcare workforce solutions, seeks a Sr. Product Manager to guide a product family serving academic institutions.

You bring lived experience in higher education administration, running clinical placements, and ensuring accreditation compliance. You will translate needs into actionable product requirements and partner with Design, Development, and QA to deliver impactful software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's or terminal degree preferred in nursing, allied health, education, or related field.
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in higher education administration, ideally including Associate Dean, Dean, Program Director, or Department Chair.
Direct, hands-on experience managing clinical/experiential education, placements, and compliance tracking.
Familiarity with accreditation standards (CCNE, ACEN, CAAHEP, ACOTE, etc.).
Experience with EdTech or health science software a plus; not required.

Responsibilities

Create, contribute to, and manage the strategy and roadmap for products serving academic institutions.
Translate academic and clinical education needs into clear product requirements for engineering and design teams.
Prioritize epics and stories for scrum teams and organize releases.
Collaborate across Design, Development, and QA to deliver product features.
Report on KPIs and drive usage and engagement metrics among academic customers.
