Job summary

Pearson in the United States is seeking a Product Manager to work with the Team Manager of Product Management for Student Outcomes Technology to drive continuous improvement of the product portfolio and optimize the PVSlearning experience.

You will develop roadmaps, gather customer input, draft business cases, and monitor KPIs, while applying Agile practices across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of product management or similar role in educational technology or SaaS.
• Strong ability to synthesize stakeholder needs into actionable plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop and refine product roadmaps based on strategy and investment priorities for platform capabilities.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through direct interaction or feedback analysis and translate into clear problem statements.
• Develop rapport and trust with business owners, engineering, architecture, and other key stakeholders.
• Draft business cases with well-defined business value and success metrics.
• Support quality management by ensuring non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability) are met.
• Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs.
• Communicate the product vision clearly to all stakeholders.
• Recognize impact of change and lead change management efforts.
• Work with research teams to define, measure, and improve efficacy of digital products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitive analyses to identify opportunities.
• Keep knowledge current on emerging AI trends and tools that impact product work.
• Experiment with AI to streamline discovery, planning, and delivery processes, improving efficiency without harming outcomes.
