Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Product Manager to drive continuous improvement of the Student Outcomes Technology product portfolio, partnering with teams across engineering, content, marketing, and sales. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in product management, business analysis, or similar role in edtech or SaaS.
• Synthesize and prioritize needs of multiple stakeholder groups.
• Convert data into actionable plans for end users.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects under constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication; agile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop and refine product roadmaps aligned to strategy and investments.
• Translate customer needs into clear problem statements through direct interaction or feedback.
• Build trust with business owners, engineering, and stakeholders.
• Draft business cases with defined business value and success metrics.
• Ensure quality by integrating non-functional requirements (security, reliability).
• Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs.
• Communicate product vision clearly to all stakeholders.
• Lead change management when necessary.
• Work with research teams to measure efficacy of digital products.
• Track industry trends to identify long-term opportunities and AI impacts.
