Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the Student Outcomes Technology portfolio, driving continuous improvement of the product suite and optimizing the PVSlearning experience.

You will assess market and customer needs, define roadmaps, monitor development, and coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, content, marketing, and school-facing support. Strong Agile experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of product management, business analysis, or similar role, preferably in educational technology or SaaS.
• Ability to synthesize and prioritize the needs of multiple stakeholder groups.
• Convert data points into an actionable plan for end users.
• Proven ability to manage complex large-scale projects with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of working in fast-paced environments.
• Agile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop and refine product roadmaps based on strategy and priorities.
• Translate customer needs into clear problem statements through direct interaction or feedback analysis.
• Build rapport with business owners, engineering, architecture, and other stakeholders.
• Draft business cases with defined business value and success metrics.
• Support quality management by integrating performance, security, and reliability requirements.
• Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs.
• Communicate product vision to all stakeholders and manage expectations around scope and behavior.
• Lead change management efforts and keep teams aligned with strategic shifts.
• Work with research teams to measure and improve efficacy of digital products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and AI developments to identify opportunities.
