Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Product Manager to partner with the Team Manager of Product Management for Student Outcomes Technology to drive continuous improvement of the product portfolio that optimizes the PVSlearning experience.

You will assess market needs, define roadmaps, monitor delivery, and communicate with stakeholders across teams including engineering, content, marketing, sales, and school-facing support.

Qualifications

• High degree of ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with online curriculum implementations or school/district operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of product management, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Ability to synthesize and prioritize multiple stakeholder needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; manage complex programs.
• Adaptable, self-directed, and creative with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; Agile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop and refine product roadmaps aligned with strategy and priorities.
• Translate customer needs into clear problem statements and requirements.
• Build rapport with business owners, engineering, architecture, and stakeholders.
• Draft business cases with defined business value and success metrics.
• Support quality management by integrating performance and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs.
• Communicate product vision clearly to all stakeholders.
• Lead change management and respond to organizational changes.
• Work with research teams to measure and improve efficacy of digital products.
• Stay informed about AI trends and tools, exploring experiments to improve delivery.
