Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Product Manager to partner with the Team Manager of Product Management for Student Outcomes Technology. You will manage the product portfolio, assess market needs, define a roadmap, monitor delivery, and coordinate with software engineering, content development, marketing, sales, and school-facing support teams.

You will drive agile practices within the Product Management team and work with research teams to measure efficacy of digital products, staying current on AI trends

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management, business analysis, or similar role, preferably in educational technology or SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize and prioritize needs of multiple stakeholder groups.
• Proven ability to manage complex large-scale projects with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine product roadmaps based on strategy and priorities for platform capabilities.
• Understand customer needs through direct interaction or feedback analysis and articulate clear problem statements.
• Build rapport with business owners, engineering, architecture, and other stakeholders.
• Draft business cases with defined business value and success metrics.
• Support quality management by ensuring non-functional requirements (performance, security, reliability) are met.
• Evaluate and share product performance and KPIs.
• Communicate the product vision clearly to all stakeholders.
