Job summary

Samsara is hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Device Experience, focused on the end-to-end install experience of Samsara hardware. You will own the five-minute install window and drive the multi-year vision for device onboarding across products and geographies.

You will guide the install flow in the Samsara Fleet app and build verification mechanisms to ensure health before the installer leaves. Remote-US role with North American time zone focus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience shipping products used by external customers.
• A record of owning a business or product metric and changing its trajectory.
• Experience building something from zero to one without a spec, a defined customer, or a playbook.
• Technical depth sufficient for engineers to treat you as a peer: CS degree or engineering background, or system-architecture fluency.
• Ability to operate at both high-level direction and detailed screen-flow review within the same week.
• Executive-level communication and presence with leadership and customers.
• Based in a North American time zone; US remote is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Own the three-year vision for device installation and provisioning.
• Own install correctness and drive funnel metrics quarterly.
• Own the guided install and verification flow in the Samsara Fleet app.
• Build intelligence to verify installs are correct (camera aiming, wiring, signal).
• Provide operations with live view of readiness: installed, verified, data-producing.
